The difference

Not another dating app.

  1. Dating apps: Swipe through hundreds

WeMet: Chosen for you, one at a time

  2. Dating apps: Chat for weeks

WeMet: You both say yes. Then you meet.

  3. Dating apps: The same feed for everyone

WeMet: Intelligent matchmaking, refined with every introduction

How it works

From an introduction to a first meeting.

  1. Start with who you are

Start with 25 questions about you, then tell us who you hope to meet.

  2. One person, one decision

You each answer yes or no within the same three-day window.

    3 days to decide
A woman on the phone in warm light
  3. Then, meet

Once you both say yes, you'll both see each other's contact details straight away, and you can also chat for up to 7 days to plan a meeting.

A coffee and a walkMeet at a café, then walk the small streets. Conversation warms up when you are moving.

A bookshop caféStart with what you have been reading or watching lately. More to talk about than a plain coffee, and no pressure.

Why WeMet

Made for meeting, not for scrolling.

WeMet (wemet.dating) is a modern matchmaking service for adults in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, the United States and Canada. No swiping and no chat: WeMet uses AI to choose one introduction a week, when there is someone who fits what you both said you want, and explains why before you see a photo. Introductions open city by city.

  1. Verified members

You verify your mobile number, and a photo check compares you with your main profile photo before you appear to anyone.

  2. One considered introduction a week

No feed, and no endless swiping.

  3. Private until you both say yes

You each answer on your own. Your response remains private unless you both say yes.

  4. A real person to reach

Our support team is available every day from 9am to 9pm Sydney time.

Photo checks do not verify age, legal identity or background, and cannot guarantee someone's behaviour.

Questions

A little more to know

Who can join?

Adults seeking a relationship who live in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, the United States and Canada: 18 and over (19 in some Canadian provinces and territories and some US states, 21 in Mississippi). One membership model for everyone, regardless of gender or dating preference.

Where is WeMet open?

Open to adults in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, the United States and Canada. Introductions start where enough suitable members are nearby, and never across countries.

What does it cost?

Joining, building your profile, verification and introductions are free. The optional Plus and Prime Circle are coming soon; their prices for each country are on the pricing page, and payments start only after their terms are published.

What happens after the quiz?

You can answer the 25 questions first, on the quiz page; your answers stay on your device. To keep your type and see your full report, create a free account: you verify your mobile number and email and confirm your date of birth. Your report comes with a card you can share if you like.

Then add your profile, answer eight short prompts and add a photo. That puts you on the founding-member waitlist. You need at least 3 photos and a photo check before your first introduction.

People we introduce you to see your type, never your quiz answers.

Some questions are adapted from well-studied personality research; the eight types are WeMet's own way of describing your results. It is not a clinical or diagnostic test.

How does verification work?

A photo check compares a selfie you take with your main profile photo, and it is required before you can appear to another member. We do not ask for government identification.

Can I take a break?

Weekly participation is an explicit choice. You will be able to pause and resume. Introductions have started in Singapore. Other cities open one by one.

What if there is no one for me this week?

Then we say so. Some weeks there will be no one. We will tell you either way.

What is Private Matchmaking?

Private Matchmaking is an optional professional service, separate from your membership, including introductions beyond WeMet. It is provided by a separate matchmaking company, on its own terms and prices. Contact only starts with your explicit consent.
